  Family and dog friendly Tavern with warm and helpful owners and staff. I highly recommend the Sunday Roast. You get a large portion with succulent meat and homemade gravy. In addition you'll get a good portion of various trimmings. You have the option to sit near the TV and watch the sports or if you prefer more relaxing atmosphere they have that as well.
  
  We regulary go for the Sunday Roast and I would highly recommend it for all the roast lovers out there

  Having read and heard excellent feedback regarding the food served at this establishment, my husband and I thought we would visit for a meal. Upon arriving we were greeted by a rather sullen bar person who informed us that food was not being served because it was the Chefs birthday, very disappointed as both my husband I were starving, we decided to stay and have a drink and soak up the atmosphere. This establishment is a very warm and welcoming place to visit despite the initial greeting and we will return to sample the food. Will make a note in my diary when the Chefs birthday is.
