  Slightly disappointing, over 20£ for a steak and small bottle of water. Chips where tepid and small portion also advertised with onion rings which didn't arrive, steak was ok, not best cut in world. A couple of leaves thrown in for good measure but left unwhemed really at best!

  We thought we would break away from the chain restaurants and try this place out. The menu looked lovely and the setting was in a very nice location. However, the food was ridiculously overpriced and the staff member that served us was utterly disinterested.
  
  I ordered the chicken casserole, at and £12 I thought it would be quite substantial. My plate arrived with two shrivelled, minescule chicken legs and a handful of beans and potatoes. Very disappointing. My partners £12.50 burger was quite tasty but again overpriced. The burger was nothing special and the side salad it came with consisted of a few leaves.

  After reading some reviews we thought we would give the lion and lamb a go.
  
  Big mistake, waitress that can only be describe as scruff, must have turned up late for her shift! (That should have been an indication).
  
  Had the soup with a very nice cracked bowl. should have asked for dish water, it may have had flavour!
  
  On the up side, the elderflower delight, was refreshing, but £7 for elderflower cordial with some fresh mint and ice in it. Maybe not.
